Use The Force
Hint 1
Reveal
Moving the purple piece isn't the right move.
Hint 2
Reveal
The move to make is a swap.
Hint 3
Reveal
Make a swap to remove the long horizontal bar near the top.
Hint 4
Reveal
Swap the green and blue gems in the long horizontal bar near the top. The long bar disappears, the purple pair falls, and the level is cleared.
Stack of Boxes
Hint 1
Reveal
The move is a drag, and it's from one extreme part of the board to another.
Hint 2
Reveal
The piece to move is in the lower-left corner.
Hint 3
Reveal
The place to move it is in the upper-right part of the board.
Chain Reaction
Hint 1
Reveal
The chain reaction starts from the upper-left part of the board. How to get it started?
Hint 2
Reveal
The move to make is to drag a 1-cell piece. Which piece? Where to drag it?
Hint 3
Reveal
The piece to drag is the 1-cell blue piece in the upper-left part of the board. Where to drag it?
Hint 4
Reveal
Drag the piece so that it's involved in the last match of the chain reaction.
Hint 5
Reveal
Drag the piece to the lower-right part of the board.
Upside Down Frown
Hint 1
Reveal
Vertical alignment is the key.
Hint 2
Reveal
All of the matches happen after the third move. If you make matches on your first or second move, try something else.
Hint 3
Reveal
All three moves are spins, and the third move turns a frown into a smile.
Hint 4
Reveal
Start by spinning the piece at the bottom.
Hint 5
Reveal
Next spin the straight bar piece at the top.
Hint 6
Reveal
Finally spin the middle "frown" piece.
Pillar of Strength
Hint 1
Reveal
Notice what happens if you start by swapping the purple and red gems in the lower-right corner of the board. Lots of stuff gets cleared. But perhaps a bit too much stuff?
Hint 2
Reveal
As mentioned in the first hint, swapping the purple and red gems in the lower-right corner seems good, but it ends up clearing a couple pieces that you need later. Can you first spin one of those pieces to avoid losing both pieces too early?
Hint 3
Reveal
As mentioned in the first hint, you want to swap the purple and red gems in the lower-right corner, but only after spinning one piece up top to prevent early match/clear of two pieces.
Hint 4
Reveal
Start by spinning the purple/green pair piece at the top of the pillar. Then you can swap the purple and red gems in the lower-right corner without losing that purple/green pair piece; it's needed later.
Hint 5
Reveal
After spinning the purple/green pair piece at the top of the pillar, swap the purple and red gems in the lower-right corner of the board. Then swap the red and purple gems in the lower-left corner of the board. Then make one final swap or spin.
Flock of Birds
Hint 1
Reveal
Look at the colors of the paired gems along the left and right sides of the board.
Hint 2
Reveal
How can you order the pieces on the top of the heap to align with the colors on the sides?
Hint 3
Reveal
Note that, on the right side, we need a purple gem on the bottom to clear the purples, then a blue gem to clear the blues, and finally a green gem to clear the greens.
Hint 4
Reveal
How can you drag two of the three upper pieces to get the required order?
Hint 5
Reveal
The first move is to drag the second piece on the pile (the piece with two yellow gems in the center) straight up vertically to the top of the pile.
Detonator
Hint 1
Reveal
The two T-shaped pieces need to drop to match the rows of yellows and greens. How can you get them to drop?
Hint 2
Reveal
You'll need to get the block of four purples to touch the lower purples. How many ways are there to get it to touch?
Hint 3
Reveal
Rotate the two S-shaped pieces. Now how can you get rid of those two pieces?
Hint 4
Reveal
After rotating the two S-shaped pieces, you can get rid of them by dragging another piece.
Hint 5
Reveal
After rotating the two S-shaped pieces, drag the double-green piece at the bottom of the board to remove the two S-shaped pieces.
Inner Piece
Hint 1
Reveal
That innermost 1-cell blue piece is itching to be matched with some of the blues lower down, but don't do it too soon!
Hint 2
Reveal
You might be tempted to think that solving this puzzle involves making a move that causes black gems to drop in. But that's not true; no black gems are involved.
Hint 3
Reveal
Spin two of the larger pieces to line things up, paying attention to where the unmatched cells are. Then make a final move.
Hint 4
Reveal
Start by spinning the outermost ring.
Hint 5
Reveal
Next spin the innermost ring.
Hint 6
Reveal
Finally move the singleton piece.
Cascadia
Hint 1
Reveal
We'll admit it: This puzzle ain't easy. As in prior puzzles, you might be tempted to think black gems are required, but they are not.
Hint 2
Reveal
An important fact about this puzzle is that all of the matches that need to happen are matches of three gems, not four or more. With that in mind, study the left and right halves of the board, and figure out where there's too many or too few of a color on a given side.
Hint 3
Reveal
Note that there are the wrong number of purples on both the left and right sides of the board, and the wrong number of reds on both the left and right sides of the board.
Hint 4
Reveal
We could balance the number of reds by moving the double red in the upper-right corner of the board to the left side of the board. And we could balance the purples (and still keep balance in the greens) by moving the green-purple pair at the bottom of the board to the right side.
Hint 5
Reveal
How can we make those two moves? In particular, we'd really like to move that green-purple pair right onto the fourth row of the board (counting the rows from the top) to match the double green and double purple. But if we try to do that as the first move, the left side falls, the right side falls, we get a black gem, and things are generally messed up.
Hint 6
Reveal
Move the double red first, and move it to a place (a place of support) that allows you to then move the green-purple pair without the left side falling.
Hint 7
Reveal
Move the double red to the bottom-left corner of the board.
Palo Alto
Hint 1
Reveal
Look at those three unmatched 1-cell gems in the lower-left of the board. Unless a miracle happens, some of those gems, and maybe all of them, are going to have to move somewhere else to find a match.
Hint 2
Reveal
Note that the 1-cell blue gem at the top of the board would match nicely with two other unmatched blues on the left side of the board if we could only spin that tall L-shaped piece.
Hint 3
Reveal
By moving the three singletons in the lower-left, and then spinning the tall L-shaped piece on the left, we can match those first three blues and set off a cascade. But the cascade will only work if you positioned those singletons correctly.
Hint 4
Reveal
The right place for the red singleton is at the top of the third column of the board. This will make it fall to match the two unmatched reds waiting at the bottom. How can you position the other two singletons similarly?
Hint 5
Reveal
The right place for the purple singleton is at the top of the fourth column of the board. This will make it fall to match the two unmatched purples waiting at the bottom. Now place the yellow singleton (where?) and finally spin the leftmost tall L piece.
Hint 6
Reveal
The right place for the yellow singleton is at the top of the eighth column of the board. Now spin the leftmost tall L piece.
Raise the Bar
Hint 1
Reveal
Before raising the bar, do some other work first.
Hint 2
Reveal
Remember that to make each match of three gems, you'll need a gem from the bar plus two others.
Hint 3
Reveal
The bar must be both spun and raised.
Hint 4
Reveal
The first eight moves are to get the singletons sitting on top of matching pegs.
Hint 5
Reveal
The last two moves are to raise the bar and spin the bar.
Jail Birds
Hint 1
Reveal
You need to set up a cascade of moves.
Hint 2
Reveal
The action of the cascade will move from the right side of the screen to the left side of the screen.
Hint 3
Reveal
The cascade will start with a flying piece flying upwards.
Hint 4
Reveal
The cascade will end with the match of the three purple singletons.
Hint 5
Reveal
The piece to move is one of the purple singletons.
Teetotaler
Hint 1
Reveal
Think about the purple gems. You'll need to make a match with them.
Hint 2
Reveal
One of the T shapes is nothing but trouble.
Hint 3
Reveal
Notice that if you drag the 3-bar under the left T, things line up nicely. Perhaps too nicely.
Hint 4
Reveal
The first move is to spin one of the T shapes.
Hint 5
Reveal
The third move is to spin the other T shape.
Hint 6
Reveal
The second move is to drag the 3-bar.
Hang Your Hat
Hint 1
Reveal
In the solution, no matches happen until the third move has been made.
Hint 2
Reveal
Spinning? Not so much.
Hint 3
Reveal
Swapping? Not so much.
Hint 4
Reveal
The very last matches that happen are four purples and three greens, both stacked vertically.
Hint 5
Reveal
The solution involves no swapping and no spinning. This means it's just two drags. You drag a piece to the unused peg, and then drag another piece to the peg that just got freed up. That leaves only six possible combinations of moves.
Ups and Downs
Hint 1
Reveal
The large piece in the middle needs to move up and down.
Hint 2
Reveal
The green singleton is weighing the large piece down.
Hint 3
Reveal
The vertical 3-bar is also keeping the large piece from moving freely.
Hint 4
Reveal
It would be nice to get rid of those pieces that are keeping the bar from moving freely.
Hint 5
Reveal
How can you get rid of the green singleton and the vertical 3-bar in three moves?
Hint 6
Reveal
The first move is to spin the vertical 3-bar.
Hint 7
Reveal
The second move is to drag the green singleton to set it up for a match on the next move (the move in Hint 8).
Hint 8
Reveal
The third move is to drag the vertical 3-bar...
